Penny McCulloch
Montessori Teacher
Hi. My name is Penny McCulloch and I was born in Cambridge.
I travelled extensively overseas and based myself in London teaching in Primary Schools. I spent a season in France as a chalet girl and spent the next three winters snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, California. I had a summer in Africa and another in the Middle East.I spent two years teaching English in Tokyo and then finally came back to Cambridge.
I have three very active and fun boys. Luckily, I came across Montessori in Cambridge and my oldest went to Raleigh street Montessori and my younger two came to work with me at Taylor Street where I have been for ten years. I now work at Magnolia Montessori. I have always worked and love working with children, starting with baby sitting jobs when I was a teenager.
I am an active member of the Cambridge Golf Club and my boys and Terry play too. We do a lot of biking and mountain biking and the boys do motocross. In the winter we like to go skiing, and in the summer, we enjoy camping in our caravan.
My boys attend the three local schools which are fantastic and are all very active with sport in the community. Cricket, tennis, touch rugby, rugby, hockey and golf keep us all very busy.
What a wonderful community we have in Cambridge and what a great start the boys had at Montessori.
