Jessie Levendis

I joined the Cambridge Montessori Preschool team in 2011, and love teaching because it is a creative, social and fascinating process. I have the privilege to see children gain confidence and joy in their own achievements.

My first real experience of Montessori was when I was placed in a Montessori centre for my teacher’s training, and I fell in love with the idea of ‘travelling at a child’s pace’; looking at their journey through their eyes. I have been enjoying that journey.

I hope my passion to notice, recognise and respond positively is absorbed by the children so they learn to treasure their environments and opportunities, other people, and their own giftings and abilities, and become everything they are able to be.

In my spare time I enjoy music, movies, opshopping, learning and catching up friends and with my 3 grown up, amazing children.
